I am a little late to the game with this one. A lot of you are probably already familiar with or own a 31 bits piece of jewelry, but I just have to give it a feature.   I discovered the brand a while ago when I was shopping at Alternative ( one of my favorite stores) on Abbott Kinney ( the best street in America).   I am drawn to all charitable companies, but especially ones in fashion and this jewelry doesn’t miss the mark.  They are distinctive –  I can usually pick out when people are wearing them.  The beads are made from recycled paper and are crafted by hand by artisans in Uganda. Their mission is using fashion and design to empower people to rise above poverty.   One of my favorite parts – The founders of 31 bits are young.  When they started the company, they were 21 years old…  AMAZING. We don’t have to talk about how I was spending my time at 21…

The looks are also affordable and to bring it back to my lovely industry – They  have curated pieces that are perfect for your wedding party or bridal look.  Honestly, the pieces are great for everyday – and the fact that they have a story behind it is even better.  I encourage you to go check out their designs, read their story and join their movement.

*** Our Pretty with Purpose blog posts are meant to bring awareness of charitable companies to my readers.    We love to inspire our clients to think of ways they can add a bit of “good” or “giving back” to their wedding or event.    If you have a charity or charitable company we should know about – send them to stacey@staceylynndesign.com
